DEMONTE showed some nice improvement to finish third in his last start with the blinkers fitted. The saddle was reported to have slipped that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging. He jumps from a good draw of three and in this line-up, he may be the one to side with. BEZOS is much better than his last two starts suggest. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. He makes his local and stable debut this afternoon and if putting his best foot forward, he should be involved in the fight to the finish. TRUE BLUE STRAYA is an unraced son of Wylie Hall from the Duncan McKenzie stable. He does not need to be a stable superstar to win in this type of field. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances. BRAVESTARR has shown improvement in his last two starts on this course. It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from his last form line. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe.
